Octubre

So many great things about October. First, and foremost, honeycrisp apples. The best treat. Thanks to my sister, Lindsay, I now can enjoy these crisp, honey apples with a dash of cinnamon and a whole lot of satisfaction. It's like candy! Second, general conference. One of my favorite parts is the music. Third, HOLLAween: this year should I go as a nose, droid, or string cheese? (all suggestions of my niece...brilliant!) Fourth, my birthday! I don't like to be the center of attention, but this year I'll be 20 and I'm feeling pretty old. Time for the annual bike jamboree. Fifth, fall. I love cardigans and boots as much as I love string cheese and honeycrisp apples. With fall comes cooler weather; hopefully soon I can run outside without experiencing a stroke.

I love my intern teacher. School is long and tedious, but interesting. I'm thankful for my friends, family, and happy life.

I interviewed a boy in my class last week who is a genius. He reads all day, everyday, and is upset when kids make fun of him in class because he'd rather read a "good, long book than a stupid comic book with no character development or interesting plot!" (his direct words). This guy is 11. This guy reminds me why it's fun to be a teacher.

Also, I enjoy all things pumpkin.
