The Big 22, etc.

Having a birthday is great when you have Ben for a husband and a great family! Pictured below: birthday crepes, a painting from my talented Grandma McCook, Lunch at Liberty Market with our family (minus Ryan-work), and a really great picture of Ben and I (unfortunately the only one taken of us on my birthday)...Sitting in the sunlight sometimes makes you look deformed. Not pictured: Lindsay (she was there, promise!), a heavenly massage (thanks Mom and Dad Barazoto!), birthday dinner at The Grind (where we had our first{second} date), and shopping! It was a great day that was not spent with 22 eight year olds, what a blessing.
Lately, I've been busy with school. Ben has school and work and actually just received a promotion! He's everyone's favorite. Also, signs of Halloween can be seen at our condo and at my school (and Riley is the cutest Halloween eagle I've ever seen!).
Our house is starting to feel more like a home. We received our painting from the free giveaway in the mail and it's terrific!
Also, Ben's Papa passed away last week. The funeral was Monday and was beautiful. Ben was able to give memories and I sang along with some other granddaughters. We are glad he no longer has to suffer and is where he should be. We are grateful for our knowledge of the gospel.
Some updates from our house: (Our couch finally came!!)
Sometimes Ben and I go on dates.
We also watch Downton Abby. And, I think Ben is into it more than me--which is great! Jimmy Fallon's "Downton Sixbey" is pretty hilarious, pardon some of the language. (Sorry I don't know how to do links!!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zFEabHQWntg update:

  2. I'm glad you had a great day! I think that might be my knuckle that's visible in the pic of Annie. Remember last year when you and Ben tandemed? I'm jealous of your paintings and your pumpkin.
